Robert Trent Jones Senior’s Crowning Glory

Robert Trent Jones, Sr.’s final design in Michigan is truly a masterpiece. People travel from all over the U.S. to check this course off their list. In his own words, Jones claimed it his crowning glory. The course is located at the headwaters of the Pigeon River and takes full advantage of natural valleys, ravines and broad plains. The signature 6th hole features a 120’ vertical drop and a panoramic view of the Pigeon River Valley. Only about one well-hit drive away from the new chalets.

Insider Tip: The Masterpiece has one of the highest slope ratings in the Midwest. Hole six is where Robert Trent Jones, Sr. coined the name Treetops. One look from the tee box and you’ll see why!
